I was born in 1963 and I went through Primary and High shool after which in 1983 I attended a one year photography course at the Kenya Polytechnic in Nairobi.  I then started working as a freelance photographer.  In 1985 I came to Mombasa and continued freelancing for the Nation, Standard and the Kenya times newspapers.  In 1987, I started covering Rotary clubs functions and I became the official photographer for all the five Rotary clubs in Mombasa.  In 1988,89 and 90,I was the official photographer for the Mombasa international Marathon.  I started getting involved with the Hotels in 1988 and its through the hotels that I started getting involved with weddings.  I stared covering weddings for Thomsons Worldwide at The Club Sun n Sand in 1988 and I've been Thomsons' official weddings photographer in Mombasa ever since.  In the process other tour companies and Hotels started wedding packages and I have been doing their photography as well.

I now cover weddings for Thomsons, Kuoni, Somak, First choice and Hayes & Jarvis.  I also cover weddings for the following hotels, Severin Sea Lodge, Serena Beach Hotel, Whitesands Beach Hotel, Voyager Beach Resort, Nyali Beach Hotel, Indian Ocean Beach Club, Southern Palms Beach Hotel and Leopard Beach Hotel.

I have done brochure work for Neptune Beach Hotel, Jahazi Marine(sounds and lights excursion) and Continental Beach Cottages.  I also make plastic staff Identification cards for a number of Hotels and Companies.
